Thank You Taigan
I was starting a new job, actually a very big step up in my career, and was given the opportunity to become a Director of Major Fundraising Gifts for a nonprofit foundation. This after being out of the job market for two years because I was raising my second child. I was so excited to get back to work and so stressed out at the same time, because like every other woman out there, I was complaining about having nothing to wear.
Except in my case it was really true because I’ve been doing mommy work for the past recent years. I never really needed any work wear just comfortable clothes that I can run around in, to do errands and play with my children. Mommy and me groups don’t typically scream power suit. I had a few more weeks left before I started my job, but I wanted to spend as much quality time with my child instead of going to the malls only to be harassed by saleswomen wanting their commission. So I have a friend who loves to shop online and told me about Taigan.com. She swore they had a huge collection of fashionable wear that I can use for business meetings and great fashions that I can feel comfortable in. So I decided to get online while my child was napping and found Taigan.
I had so much fun browsing through the numerous boutiques. I found so many outfits that were all well made and seemed to scream perfect for first impressions. I shopped and shopped and waited for the entire collection of clothes to get to my place. What’s really fun is that I amused myself by shopping in specialty shops that were from different cities in the U.S. From New York, Dallas, and of course, I wanted to support local boutiques, so I bought a dress from an Atlanta shop. Then, of course, I called my friend over and modeled to get a second opinion.
Like I said, I’ve been wearing leggings and comfortable sweater for the past several months. I even forgot how to walk in heels. But no worries I got plenty of practice when I bought a few pairs of shoes in Taigan’s boutiques. Needless to say, my friend loved everything and actually said she would borrow a few pieces.
